Our Attorneys

Rodney Rusca graduated from Sanger High School in 1969, Reedley Community College in 1971, California State University, Fresno in 1973, and Santa Clara University School of Law in 1976.

Mr. Rusca is in good standing with the California State Bar in and has been practicing law continuously since December 1977. Mr. Rusca was a founding member of the Fresno La Raza Chapter.

Rodney has practiced in numerous areas of law; however, he has limited his practice strictly to family law matters as he enjoys the opportunity to help individuals through what likely would be the most stressful time in that person's life.

Rosemarie Rusca is a life-long resident of the Central San Joaquin Valley. Mrs. Rusca is the mother of three children.

Mrs. Rusca graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1969, and graduated from San Joaquin School of Law in 1994.

Mrs. Rusca has volunteered as a judge for the Fresno County Superior Court on numerous occasions, and has been involved in assisting charitable organizations such hosting the Animal Compassion Team annual fundraiser, Puppypalooza.

Mrs. Rusca has been involved in numerous trials involving dissolution, child custody & visitation, support, guardianship, and termination of parental rights. Mrs. Rusca is an aggressive advocate, but equally able to settle disputes in a cost-effective matter that benefits both Parties. It is not uncommon for both Parties to place Mrs. Rusca in high regard once the final judgment is processed.

Christopher Rusca is the youngest son of Rodney and Rosemarie Rusca.

Mr. Rusca graduated from Sanger High School in 2002. In 2006, Mr. Rusca graduated from The Smittcamp Family Honors College at California State University, Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in Accountancy and a minor in Economics. Mr. Rusca then graduated in 2009 from Santa Clara University earning dual graduate degrees: a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Juris Doctorate.

In September 2009, Mr. Rusca began working for a large local civil litigation firm working in various fields of law; however, on October 4, 2010, Mr. Rusca came to work with his parents focusing primarily on family law cases. In September of 2013, he was named Vice-President of the Fresno County Bar Family Law Section. In December of 2013, he was hired as a part time professor for The Fresno City Family Law Class in its Paralegal Program.

Mr. Rusca continues to be involved in civil litigation matters such as personal injury; however, his primary focus is family law as he enjoys the high-paced field and being able to help those in desparate need.

Rodney is a Fresno native who graduated from Sanger High in 2000 and The Smittcamp Family Honors College at California State University, Fresno, with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2004.

Rodney graduated from McGeorge School of Law in the winter of 2008, and was admitted to the California State Bar in June 2008. In 2009, Rodney earned a Masters in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.

Rodney worked with the Stanislaus, Solano, and Fresno County Public Defender's Offices. During that time, he learned what cases were worth and how to take cases all the way through jury trial. The fast paced environment of those offices has given him the experience necessary to feel comfortable and competent in any courtroom. After joining the firm in April of 2012, Rodney was trained and now accepts Family, Child Protective Services (Dependency), and Insurance law cases in addition to Criminal Defense.

Additionally, Rodney has been making videos to train new attorneys to do a criminal jury trial for www.elawclinic.com. He plans on making Family Law Videos as soon as possible.
